Sally studied illustration at the Central School of Art with John Burningham and Gertrude Hermes. On leaving the Central she worked as a designer of book jackets and publicity for a London publisher.
In the 1980’s she joined the Greenwich Printmakers Association creating etchings and linocuts, exhibiting widely with the group in the UK and abroad and independently including the Royal Academy.
She has work in the Greenwich Print Library and is an invited contributor in the Encyclopaedia of Printmaking Techniques. She is now focussing on painting and developing ideas towards abstraction.
Recently, Sally has been working in acrylic, layering colour and mark making to build up rich textures.
